SCOPE OF VMSAPF 2025

The National Seminar on “Computer Vision and Machine Learning in Smart Agriculture and Precision Farming (VMSAPF 2025)” aims to explore the transformative impact of advanced technologies on modern agriculture. By focusing on computer vision and machine learning, the seminar will cover cutting-edge techniques essential for enhancing crop health monitoring, early disease detection, and accurate yield prediction. These technologies have the potential to significantly improve farming efficiency, reduce resource wastage, and increase overall productivity.

The seminar provides a platform to showcase practical applications and case studies, highlighting real-world success stories that illustrate the economic and environmental benefits of adopting smart agriculture solutions. Furthermore, it addresses pressing challenges faced by farmers, researchers, and technology providers, including issues related to data privacy, high implementation costs, and the need for increased digital literacy in rural areas.

By fostering an environment for open discussion and collaboration, the seminar encourages stakeholders to share insights and develop innovative solutions to overcome these barriers. Additionally, it seeks to build a strong professional network of researchers, technologists, and agricultural experts committed to advancing precision farming.

Overall, VMSAPF 2025 will serve as a catalyst for knowledge exchange, innovation, and the widespread adoption of intelligent farming practices, contributing to sustainable agricultural development.

OBJECTIVES OF THE SEMINAR

The primary objectives of VMSAPF 2025 include:

Educate on Core Technologies and Applications:

Provide a foundational understanding of computer vision and machine learning techniques, specifically for agricultural tasks like crop health analysis, disease detection, and yield forecasting.

Showcase Practical Solutions and Case Studies:

Highlight real-world examples and successful implementations of smart farming technology to demonstrate the tangible benefits and return on investment for modern agriculture.

Address Challenges and Foster Collaborative Solutions:

Facilitate a discussion on the key hurdles in adopting these technologies, such as data privacy, cost, and digital literacy, to inspire collaborative problem-solving.

Build a Professional Network for Future Innovation:
